Graphium stresemanni
Graphium stresemanni is a butterfly from Australasia / Indomalaya ecozone (Australia). The first description was in 1915 by Rothschild. The wingspan is about 7 – 8 cm. This butterfly is a member of the family PAPILIONIDAE. The basic color of Graphium stresemanni is black. Large blue spots and green areas dominate the wings. The fore wings are black. At the outer edge there is a chain of little blue spots. Some blue spots dominate the wing.
The underside of Graphium stresemanni is very similar to the upside. But the basic color of the wing-tip is brown. Next to the body is an additional green area.
The hind wings of Graphium stresemanni are black and they have tails. The edge is wavy. Next to the body there is a large greenish area. At the outer edge there is a chain of little spots.
