Pyrrhogyra crameri is a species of Lepidoptera (butterflies) of the family Nymphalidae , subfamily Biblidinae , tribe Biblidini and genus Pyrrhogyra . Pyrrhogyra crameri is a butterfly with a wingspan of about 44 mm with anterior and posterior wings with a serrated outer edge. The upper part is white, with a large chestnut margin at the costal and external margin of the forewing, reserving two white spots at each apex and broadly bordered with brown at the outer edge of the hind wings, which have a small red spot at the anal angle.The lapel is white with a thin red submarginal line and a red line, which on the forewing continues along the costal margin and delimits a white spot near the apex. Pyrrhogyra crameri occurs in Panama , Nicaragua , Costa Rica , Colombia , Ecuador , Peru , Surinam and Guyana
