Iphiclides feisthamelii
Iphiclides feisthamelii is a butterfly from the Palaearctic ecozone (Europe). The area of distribution of this butterfly stretches from Marocco to Tunisia . The first description was in 1832 by Duponchel. The wingspan is about 7 – 9 cm. Iphiclides feisthamelii is a member of the family PAPILIONIDAE. The basic colour of this butterfly is white with black stripes. The hind wings have long tails.
The fore wings are white. Some black stripes dominate the wing. The outer edge is black and contains a yellow stripe. The underside of Iphiclides feisthamelii is very similar to the upside. But, the outer edge is yellow and contains two black stripe.
