Chrysozephyrus rarasanus
Chrysozephyrus is a butterfly genus in the family Lycaenidae. They were formerly included in Thecla.The genus is diverse and ranges from Russia to northern India. It is distributed in the middle and upper elevations of the central and northern parts of Taiwan. Outside Taiwan, it is found in southern China and northern Myanmar. Perched in evergreen broad-leaved forests. Every year, the butterfly appears in the summer. The larvae feed on plant sprouts of the genus Fagaceae (especially the scorpion).
